  • Lol this guy throws like a girl.

  • I was super super surprised he threw 50 his mechanics look like trash sorry but dude throws like a girls no force don't know how to use his whole body to throw

  • $50,000 system and they use a simulation with all that distracting artifacting going on. At least invest in some anti-aliasing.

  • There will also never be a sub 4:00 mile..., If Chuck Norris would have been in the video, the title would probably have read... “Nobody, except Chuck Norris, can throw 110 MPH”

  • Ur the worst pitcher I've ever seen

  • That is some extremely disappointing VR for 50 grand in 2018. It seems like real VR is moving further and further away...

  • Hey guys! Check out my channel if you wanna listen to the sickest signed artist of 2018! SUBSCRIBE!!!!!!!

  • Steve Dalkowski threw over 110 mph but he had no control

  • pff, 110mph.... my underhand softball tosses are over twice that

  • This dude looks like Sean Rodriguez. All the video is missing is a Gatorade cooler.

  • when the refresh rate is 30-60 fps those virtual training doesn't make any sense

  • watching this makes me think hes not a righty

  • This dude looks like he's never thrown a baseball in his life until this video😂😂

  • It’s not hard Aroldas Champmen did in the Majors and he did when he was playing in minor leagues. Correction 105 MPH is not the fastest pitch the fastest pitch is 109 set by Champmen. No wonder you were throwing have the speed of the pros your pitching form is awful. It’s not difficult to hit a ball if you don’t suck like you and your stance when your in the box is awful as well that’s why you can’t hit anything.

  • This dude looks like Jon bellion

  • Nolan Ryan once threw a 108.1 or 108.5 MPH fastball, handily beating Aroldis Chapman. It was clocked at 100.9 but the radar gun was offset and the measurement was off.

  • When nerds play sports

  • This was obviously made by and for people who know very little about baseball

  • He missed the golden opportunity to say “and they can pitch at virtually any speed

  • Man at 4:13 I just realized this dude was picked last on all his pickup baseball games... I mean he looks athletic, but baseball? just -- no...

  • This guy sucks at baseball

  • I throw 130 and am 2 months old

  • You ever do an icing video? Cause my coach wants me to ice my arm but I see people doing it differently.

  • More injuries are because of pitchers that rely on their arms too much. Pitchers, like Nolan Ryan and Roger Clemens relied on their huge legs and core. They were able to be power pitchers, long into their 40's.

  • "ligaments and tendons cant take it" yet these guys are nowhere near their peak physical condition. I bet if baseball wasnt into all these crappy conditioning fads they would have WAY less crossfit injuries lmfao.

  • Who actually cares about baseball

  • This is what SPORTS will be by the end of the century "ALL VIRTUAL".

  • THEY ARE SUPING UP THE NUMBERS.

  • This has 1.1k downvotes as of this writing. Why would anyone downvote this?

  • Interesting that we(humans) basically reached a physical limit on pitch speed because we've seemingly maximized efficiency. Wonder if we'll ever get so good at sports its almost boring.

  • That fps 9:18

  • you lost me at "Airolledes" Chapman

  • in little league because the mounds are so close it feels like the pitch is 110 miles per hour

  • I admired Greg Maddux. Dude relied on precise precision and control and great mechanics and never hovered over 90 MPH and never had to get Tommy John.

  • This guy throws like he works at Buzzfeed. Almost every High School player is hitting 70s easy.

  • @1:58, They used something called the "Speeding Motorcycle Test" to conclude that Walter Johnson and Bob Feller could both throw 100+ mph. I can't find any footage of a Minor Leaguer named Steve Dalkowski, but he was almost certainly the fastest pitcher of all time because of his insane strikeout statistics and all of the contemporary accounts. I'm guessing he threw 110+.

  • This guy is not an athlete

  • Why it's Almost Impossible to Throw a 110 MPH Fastball *looks at thumbnails* "Hitting a 250 MPH Fastball"

  • Nolan Ryan threw 110. The gun read lower because it read closer to the plate so the ball had slowed down. Using science and stuff the pitch was calculated to be 110

  • I’m just watching this and I see a video of someone apparently hitting 250 mph fastball. hmmmmmmmm

  • Looks like a t-Rex throwing a baseball.

  • Wow a episode on fastest fast ball and u didn’t bring up STEVE DALKOWSKI fastest pitcher in HISTORY!!! Do ur research plz ✌️

    • Cal Ripken Sr n Sandy Cofax said fastest pitcher they ever saw hands down

  • You never explained why it's almost impossible. Only that it causes tears in the ligaments. At what speed would no human ligament be able to withstand? What are the other limiting factors? I can't stand it when someone doesn't answer the question.

  • This guy clearly never threw a ball before. Thats just painfull to watch.

  • Decline intelligence menu preparation tribe apple joy generous winner medium.

  • Weird that pros always say fastball is easiest on your arm and slider is the most taxing.

  • There's a really good documentary film on Netflix called "Fastball"

  • Boink!

  • yo can tell buddy has horrible throwing Mechanic's

  • I throw 50

  • if you go to "humanbenchmark test", you can test your reaction time. Basically 200ms is around 1 instant for your decisive brain. The average human will have 1-2 "Instances" of reality to determine if he will swing or not.

  • With that form, lack of arm angle and poor lower body drive you were lucky to hit 50 mph.

  • Why not just get bionic arms that CAN take far more than natural arms? With materials advances in materials tech shoudl be able to do 200-300mph rather easily (and even god can't help you if you get hit with that). Dunno why Jenson didn't just go pro baseball, far more lucrative than legit gov't agent.

  • Dude. No offense, but you have terrible pitching and batting form. I'm assuming you never played baseball as a kid?

  • A slapshot in hockey is lucky to break 100 . It is actually a feat !

  • Bob Feller and Nolan Ryan. Ha These nerds think Nolan Ryan didn't throw in the era of modern pitch speed radar. Wired sucks.

  • repeat exhibit studio shortage terrible long thought point slight

  • Looks like between 2008 and 2017 a lot of pitchers started to use Roids . How else would you explain the huge jump in fast balls and pitchers throwing them

  • Nolan Ryan threw 108 read a book

  • The different ways the speeds were measured says that Nolan Ryan’s fastball reached 108mph.

  • Hitting 100+ mph fastball is NOT the most difficult thing to do in professinal sports. Scoring a maximum break of 147 in snooker is far far more difficult. You could start practicing today, everyday and in 10 years you probably still would not achieve it! But I could hit a fastball within the same day of trying.

  • out law the fast ball or base ball.

  • this guy is a flipper like a girl

  • roids

  • drake but with a short head

  • If it's impossible to hit a 110 MPH fastball, then why are tennis players able to return a serve at 130-140 MPH?

  • This guy looks like he's never thrown a ball, or swung a bat.

  • Check out Stanley Anderson he can hit what would be 250mph crazy hes a beast

  • you can't throw a ball past 88mph or it goes back in time

  • wait why does your eye need to follow the ball?

  • Every time 'experts' say ''impossible'', someone, someday will defy it.

  • Interesting video, but I predict that its prediction that we will never have 110 MPH fastballs is wrong. This assumes that human body will not change in the future. This is a false assumption: humans already modify their own bodies and evolution continues to modify the human body. Who's to say that we won't see humans with stronger tendons? This might be accomplished through genetic manipulation or through biochemical engineering. It might even happen naturally: humans are already much taller than they were just a century ago. People today might say "I want to see natural humans who are not using steroids or nanobots or genetically engineered." However, I think these attitudes will change over time as our relationship with technology continues to evolve. Things that seem like outlandish science fiction now will be normal in a century. Nobody knows the future, but it's a fairly safe bet that technology will continue to advance in transformative ways, and we are already seeing the beginnings of a technological revolution in biology and medicine.

  • Bruh I threw 52 when I was 12. Not joking, I went to a pitching camp and they had radar.

  • This video is the Epitome of Beta male

  • Holy cow! What a waste of time! It took about 30 seconds to explain why 99.99% of humans (probably) cannot throw a baseball 110mph. The rest of this video has nothing to do with that core concept. AHHHH!!!!

  • I had to stop when the guy explained how you are maxing pressure and any more would break it... I fell queesy

  • ugh all the feet and miles is exactly why i'll never follow baseball.

  • It's called PEDs and roids.

  • There's speculation that Nolan Ryan's fastball was 108 if you count for the calibration of the speedometers in the 1970's. Also, did this reporter ever throw a baseball before? I started playing baseball when i was 5-6. When I was 10 I could throw faster than this guy. Not even an exaggeration.. when i was in 4th grade I threw 55 during games.

  • didn't they used to do studies (before the internet) that running under a 4 minute mile was physically impossible? until Roger Bannister did it ... now many do it. So just waiting for the pitcher to do this, who is not hopped up on steroids first ... he's (or she's) out there somewhere, somewhen.

  • Hooray for drug use!!!!

  • 8:40 I played that winnie the pooh baseball flash game. I'm ready for anything.

  • ya well im only 13 and i can throw 105. and i play at a college.

  • I was never a baseball fan at all in anyway but this is interesting because i can throw a baseball at 136mph consistently. I tested it once. I think i know the secret but im not gonna tell anyone. Until watching this video i never thought it was a big deal at all and i though thats just how fast everyone throws a ball, Nobody told me either.

  • wtf is that throw

  • Wow. Have you ever played baseball... I see the cringe factor now commenters were talking about.

  • Baseball is hard?? You should play cricket

  • How many of the 40 pitchers in 2017 were female? Just asking, because in 2017, we are all equal.

  • whats a baaasball?

  • "d@mn"? so old yet so immature.

  • WHY WAS THIS RECOMMENDED TO ME?

  • @ 5:20 - it sounds like baseball is done progressing. Football is dying too. One day soon, basketball will reign supreme in the US and the world.

  • Can you please have someone who can actually bat decently 😂

  • An* not a

  • I seen, or should I say, I had a pitcher pitch me one well into that range one time. I was going to help him practice. Got on all the gear, he drew back and the moment the ball left his hand it instantaneously hit the wall behind me. I didn't even see it. I stood up, took the gear off and said, "never again".

  • He throws like a girl lmfao Edit: I continued watching, he swings like one too.

  • And we'll never see a man run under a 4 minute mile as the experts all said. Oh wait...

  • they picked a person for this thing and that person throws like a girl :D

  • Check the documentary Fastball. Nolan Ryan threw one about 108, so I'd say it's possible.

  • Get some anti aliasing niggahz
