  • Vertically integrated clean RENEWABLE energy solutions with MASSIVE economy’s of scale that X2 doubles and improves its effective efficiencies every 3 months always implementing and evolving with renewed vigor and embedded tenacious determination deep and wide. NOW.

  • This kind of thinking is what this country needs

  • Everything Elon knows about is very enlightened and good for us. As I see it CO2 is not really very much trouble at all - a little bit of trouble, but not much. CO2 is a slight concern but certainly not worth UN Agenda 21 / UN Agenda 2030 / a Globalist New World Order plan / Endless Control of human beings / Endless One World Government Tyranny / the catastrophic destruction of America / Socialism Control of Human Populations / a total loss of individual human freedom / preserving our natural environment through near total human depopulation / the Bad Guys in Control of everything forever and thereafter / as I see it we ought to create a future where the stuff that Elon Musk creates is capable of flourishing in our world. Why? The stuff Elon Musk creates is hopeful / inspiring / compelling. That stuff could be part of the future of our world, but only if we have a World and we Make America Great Again / Keep America Great. America First. TED us-tv.org/tv/video-zIwLWfaAg-8.html -

  • The hopeful future that Elon Musk is creating may exist soon yet the Globalist New World Order / UN Agenda 21 / UN Agenda 2030 / Socialism / Left Wing Anti-Trump Insanity / each plan to Destroy America / Destroy Mankind / extensive depopulation / and total loss of individual freedom and endless tyranny.

  • its radged

  • Elon's raging semi

  • ITS is no longer a thing - increasingly distant BFR has been dialed down by factor of 3 or more.

  • No doubt in my mind that battery technology will make these factories obsolete. It's a good start though :)

  • The Earth has consciousness. The Earth is not a big piece of cheese. :(

  • if my automatic driving car, cant change a flat tire on its own, im gunna be pissed to have to lift a finger in my lifetime.

  • The visionary of our generation.

  • what about a boring earthquake?

  • Mad respect to elon musk. great video

  • I wish we had that tunnel thingi

  • these guys have the worst stutters in history

  • Challenge take a shot every time he says “um”

  • Inspired by Musk with his great passion toward a future.

  • This is what a visionary looks like. He is finding ways of delivering dreams.

  • ok but i still cant fix my tesla

  • so what does elon do? just fund things? come up with ideas? seems like all hes good for is funding these projects this idea is cool but its nothing different than what anyone else would come up with it seems hes really only useful for one thing, money

  • Who needs humans traveling fast when we have virtual reality?!

  • What would happen to the tunnels if there was an earthquake?????

  • He has untreated ADD hence thats why he can continuanly think “big” on top of that he has a brilliant mind 👍🏼

  • What girth of tunnels needed to be able to bare a minimum of two way traffic? Where the debris created would be stored away? Would we rearrange the entire surface landscape of our planet? How such issues as maintenance, accidents, personal needs, road repairs, road crimes, public road safety, cctv, incident localisation, emergency exits, delivery of hazardous substances, dealing with seizmic activities, pandaemic diseases, oversized load would be handled. Are all these included in the ideas? We still would need to build plenty of surface roads because each premises need access. You can't just submerge cities, or branch out few hundred metres long private driveways leading up to the surface to give access to each individual building. You can only bring up so many exit points from under the ground to not damaging the bedrock's structure literally risking our lives. I would suggest maybe Elon Musk still be working on his plan for a long while before he is ready to put it down on paper. Or maybe it is all about just to increase popularity. He's a young man doing cool things so I wow him, but this plan sounds like to come with no backup plan.

  • Legend has it that Elon Musk's lips still have not met to this day.

  • That's the slowed down version ...

  • im sorry but despite the genius technological innovation and amazing speed, the fact that this tech is being mobilized to accommodate cars will more likely to increase car usage and create more congestion instead... it seems like a subway system thats more privatized (both corporally run and serving people who can afford vehicles) rather than really alleviating traffic and helping people get to where they need to be. i think it would be amazing if this tech could be used to improve public transit and subway systems that can transport more people more efficiently and for a cheaper price. we already have underground transportation, tunnelling is not new, we don’t need to bring car traffic to underground tunnels too

  • The only thing thats going to get bigger and better here is Elon Musk's ego......Elon-The-Ego-Musk.....What a C++T.

  • I'm watching this a second time months later because it's just so good. XD

  • I can't wait to see Seattle's Highway 99 tunnel!

  • "I would just like to think about the future and not be sad."

  • @ 34:56 -100 percent of the worlds problems can be solved by pursuing this mans vision. Imagine the gross production effect economically by investing the worlds labor force in this goal. A project so immense that every human on earth would benefit dramatically. Don't think people agree? Go listen to the reaction of the first launch and successful return of a booster rocket by this man. The world is dying for this goal. Depolarization like never before.

  • 4/9/98< Google= Skynet= Dwave Instantly Selfaware Salutaniously Seing us as Threat &power Source. It saw that We r Easy to manipulate / Cotrol thru Micro wave& Wifi tech Google launched 2 g towers Every where In lue of our 2G Walkie talkies And hive mind Google Took over Judgement Day was A mark for when All life was Enslaved Thru all time To the Machine. Without a fight

  • My fantasy man. N the main source of my zennn... hes gna revolutionise boring machines n improve tunneling tech n make it 5-6 mins to travel from westwood to lax at 200km/hr.this will increase human's productiviity n tourism n make people more zen for sure.i dont bore as hobby if i did we wud have met at d boring conventions.

  • Two minute silent for those who hit dislike button😈

  • Am I the only one who sees what's wrong with this picture? I cannot be the only one.

  • AI will never satisfy the innate desire to learn and create. There will always be a demand to distance one's self from it (AI).

  • I like the stutters between you two. Not being mean, idk its just a little funny

  • How quickly could you change the tesla car controls from auto to manual, in case the car's ai fails to recognize a rougue car coming through an intersection

  • What about getting to these elevators? There'll be traffic to get to those. And don't forget parking. You're gonna have all that traffic coming back up from these tunnels just to get stuck in traffic again to find spots for parking. Oh, and also, earthquakes, bro, that'll mess up those tunnels, what's the plan for that?

  • he has a point... flying cars are noisy.. unless they are not.. :)

  • Good!

  • It is not promotion. It is your work. Do not bluff. People laugh. Let there be no joke on you that failed me.

  • i mean... the future technic will just make us dumber we will get to a point where we dont need to use our brains at all anymore...

  • From dc to ny there are alot of of underground caverns.

  • Putting everyone on a Segway would be cheaper and more efficient.

  • Does Elon realize the worst way to die, except for being eaten by an animal, is being buried alive? He thinks he's gonna dig tunnels along the San Andres fault, yeh AFTER half of California sinks into the ocean maybe. After the big ONE Elon.....

  • Just train people to drive better and make Highway building more affordable

  • he as been given a techonology whuch was invented 100 years ago and which is now only just being allowed to develope.he as invented nothing new under the sun ..he as been given this by the powers that be for a purpose.what that is i dont know.

  • but you'll tell me if it ever starts getting genuinely insane, right?

  • immigration caused the egyptians and romans to lose the ability to do those things. Yet he is pro immigration which means A brain drain, B genocide for recessive genetics that are native which depletes IQ standards. The demographic change means that we wont have the future elon musk dreams of.

  • I love this

  • Elon musk is like the closest thing to my hero as a real person can get

  • He's not that great

  • Why 6 sons? I can not bear not to ask.

  • I love how elon musk is attempting to sculpt what movies showed us the future would look like even if he fails hes gonna go down as a G in history.(leaving his mark on the world).

  • Ios angeIes is earthquake prone. Did a tunneI???

  • Sorry, cowboy terrain is very heavy for me that you give me hope

  • Don't dig a hole under LA and you won't get bored.

  • What a snakeoil salesman ……

  • What a man.

  • did not happen 2018

  • tunnels will disturb water supplys

  • Elon just happened to get lucky at paypal and made some quick dough to invest. Good thing Elon had some millions saved because without that capitol Telsa would have gone down the tubes. He's crazy enough to work 100 hours a week. Elon is no brighter than an average exec in silly valley. Of course new media needs a few heroes, so elon has taken on Rock Star status. I like the guys style and determination though. Neither Tesla or Space X will be profitable. Digging commute tunnels under LA will never happen. Putting that capitol to work fixing LA's nightmare freeways a better idea. Too bad CA is going broke and no dough to build more freeways. Demo's from CA have ruined the states economy, I'm an ex-pat engineer who saw the Graffiti on the wall and left the Silly Valley.

  • Elon is tripping ballz ! Bigtime!

  • Elon is a con artist

  • His building infrastructure for the illegals. Thats kind of him because people are fleeing California.

  • corruption main reason for $1 billion / mile - right??

  • he is the biggest bullchitter going. Kudoes for his wishfulness, but he always overly estimates his speed of progress. As is evident in him saying there will be self driving cars by the end of 2017. WELL eLON, ITS ALMOT 2019, AND no SELF DRIVING CARS ON THE HORIZON YET. i BELIEVE HIS EXXAGERATED TIMELINES APPLY TO ALL HIS VENTURES, HE DOESN'T GIVE REAL OR HONEST TIMELINES, ONLY HIS WISHDUL BEST CASE SCENARIOS, WHICH IS no WAY TO APPROACH A SCIENTIFIC BREAKTHROUGH, THINGS MUST BE RESEARCHED, STUDIED, TESTED, ETC. ETC. tHEN THE SLOW PROCESS OF BRINGING SOMETHING INTO MARKET PLACE. i TRULY DON'T THINK THERE WILL BE SELF DRIVING CARS UNTIL 2030 AS A BEST CASE SCENARIO. oops all capitols. oh well who cares it's youtube. Lock me up grammer police.

  • Love the vision's he has to better the world respect !!

  • Skide godt, Elon ! Elon har en plan !

  • The host doesn't tell ask any diffecult questions. Elon Musk answers in really short nothing explaining answers. This is fake.

  • The interviewer was not up to task to ask intelligent questions of Musk. He seemed a bit lost, and didn't take advantage of his opportunity.

  • "I'm just trying to think about the future and not be sad" lol

  • He is my spiritual animal

  • It seems very little of what he predicts here is actually happening. 2 years to being able to get in a car not touch the stearing wheel and reach your destination? That's not going to be a thing by may. Certainly not by Tesla. Their self driving technology is woefully behind almost all of the competition.

  • What do you want would you life?

  • I think the world needs a little bit of my creativity. I”ll get in touch in the next ten years. :)

  • Two parking spaces yea and that won't cause congestion

  • Soon travel in time, to parallel ( similar) dimensions, will be possible. That means that there are time travelers here now. Elon seems like he is or knows someone who is from a probable future where these things are needed, or he is very good at probabilities. I think he knows we aren't going fast enough dealing with switching to low carbon lifestyles. The only way this would work as a sell, is if developed countries feel they can keep all their current abilities and conveniences while remaining carbon neutral and/or carbon negative. I think he is correct that AI is the biggest danger of all, if we don't put back-doors and failsafes into every bit of software and computer hardware. Every program, even subroutines, needs a kill switch, and a warning bell. We have the security guards, (ant-virus) and the repairmen, but where's the emergency button? Like at the gas pump? And where's the smoke detector? In case this doesn't happen, the space projects are lifeboats. Elon is building our generation's Noah's Ark. I worry that the enormous thrust of the massive rockets he has planned will slightly effect the earths orbit or spin. Or perhaps that is on purpose. I wouldn't sign up to go to Mars until it is terraformed. Who wants to live indoors the rest of their lives? If something goes wrong, the emergency responders to your 911 call are on another planet. Pretty slow response time. Furthermore, I think the evidence points to that we were on Mars a long time ago, and either blew it up or were attacked, and who knows how much nuclear radiation is still there? And have we learned from our mistakes? The tunnels are a second chance at surviving a nuclear blast. I'm sure there are already many tunnels in place and new ones being dug everywhere. Especially if they can't be easily detected. There is probably a big market for a burrower that is faster and quieter. The tunnels have a triple use: transport, shelter, and waterproof airtight tunnels could save genetic material and seeds for the future. It's a prepper's dream. There are other, less legal uses, both civilian and military. Why let the military be the only one with advanced technology and a massive dark budget? At least Elon is being transparent, mostly.

  • 💚

  • He is very good and optimistic about explaining such type of things........"looking at the future I don't want to be sad" awesome statement....

  • shut up you fucking nerd. You're no Howard Hughes

  • HOW IS HE BORING?

  • Genius

  • Waste of money. Give it to the hungry!

  • Well, I just automatically got redirected to this video after watching couple of Steve Jobs interviews. I am pretty frustrated by the fact, that Jobs is gone and now we have Musk, of whom people are talking as a genius...I don't know, I do not find him fascinating at all. I would rather describe him as a wannabe showman than as a genius of our time..

    • I'm pretty sure that Elon can make a new operating system & a new phone...much better then what we have on the market today...just as a hobby or when he's watching Handmades tv-series...only in few weeks...:) Who is Steve Jobs again ? lol...

    • Are you retarded? Musk is revolutionizing multiple industries simultaneously and he's personally involved in almost all his projects as chief engineer, from rocket science to AI research. His companies have the potential to drastically reduce our dependence on fossil fuels, mitigate the effects of climate change, cut the number of car accidents by orders of magnitude and make us a multi-planetary species. Jobs was a charismatic and talented salesman, but not much else, in terms of long term impact there is just no comparison between the two.

  • been done b4...... tunnel/road systems all under the acient world # Giza#Petra ect ect.....a ramp to Tunnel down would be more efficient than liftgate

  • Chris Anderson's "okay" changed the tone so severely following the Trump questioning. Really drove home the totalitarianism of Britain's current progressive regime. Seemed possible Elon could wind up in room 101 if he answered "wrong."

  • And people say you shouldn't go to school. School and entrepreneurship are both important.

  • All this stuttering 🧐🤦🏾‍♀️

  • Definitely a visionary, not listened to him before. Even if he fails he is willing to challenge conventional ideas.

  • If Elon was to start his own country, I would move there and work for free

  • He stutters because there were too much information he wants to speak out but he only can say it 1 at a time. it happens to me sometime when i feel clever.

  • People are so easily brainwashed. This concept will never happen, definitely under the supervision of this man. Totally fake. Hey minons just keep giving your tax dollars to your corrupt governments

  • Well grandchildren. Sit back and let me tell you of a time when it wasn’t just only Earth, but of a time of no smart phones, GPS or the internet! 🤮 A time when you could get lost in your local corn field. 😜🤔

  • oh man.. he is a great visionary.. huge respect..

  • Brilliant
