  • Basically Why do you want to put put a million people on Mars in you lifetime Cause I can

  • Damn he takes multitasking to the whole new level and then to the level after that. Sir, please, take good care of yourself

  • i thought the future are flying cars

  • The host is an idiot, period.

  • Awesome idea but if an earthquake happens what happens to the tunnel? And the tectonic plates move so how are u gonna keep the tunnel in the same place ??

  • There’s only one problem I see what happens let’s say a kid falls out of the car I know that’s exaggerated but my point is what if a accident happens in the car or outside what would happen

  • I will donate all of my life earnings and my future earnings for Elon Musk for project on mars. Just let me get on that spaceship. Dead serious.

  • What if the car cameras get dirty? And what about electric in northern Canada? Not practical

  • The Dictator on Mars. Elon the best

  • Boring co. Sounds like Aperture labs, but ok

  • The mind he had is amazing , Elon musk is the future .

  • Love you Elon ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ full support

  • Elon is a 9 year old with a very heavy pocket... Damnn love him

  • Brilliant idea. The Swiss have been boring tunnels for over a century. A 12 foot tunnel under LA sounds near the edge of claustrophobia though.

  • 19:00

  • If anything, I'm impressed with ANYBODY that looks toward the future. Y'all can argue about whether this guy is a genius or not and why he stutters, but at least he's doing the "Jetsons" thing by visualizing the future and not romanticizing the past. If I have to see one more retro styled anything I'm gonna barf!

  • us-tv.org/tv/video-6o-hLG7tZUo.html Elon Musk spoiled brat antics, us-tv.org/tv/video-SFYkdf-uL3A.html

  • On earth as it is in heaven. Dream big dude.

  • Think ants

  • 32:55 he's so casual! ahahaha

  • Semis that can drive themselves. That's a lot of truck drivers without jobs.

  • Phallic symbols

  • If something happened to our GPS satellites the car would stop and the passenger takes over?

  • Elon Stark or Tony Musk...

  • #DysonSwarm2020

  • I always wanted to hate Elon Musk , but I just can't. I wanted to hate him for the usual reasons that the rich tend to be arrogant. I am absolutely sure that Elon Musk is Autistic and I don'y mean the fashionable modern type of Autism that everyone has today. I do mean the "Special set" of schizophrenic Autism.

  • Elon Is a really good guy. I wish he would have become President instead of advisor

  • Its now 2019...

  • there is the subterrene device that uses lithium at 1500 kelvin to melt the forward surface which then sends molten slag back through the worm that then injects it into the hole its digging like glass, sealing the tube up as it moves forwards, they have had these things for years i have all the patents and the us patent office has them too, i cant recall the patent number but its easy to look it up on the search algorithm , these things are i suppose nuclear powered and remote steared, i had thought these things were in very common use tunneling between walmarts and making the military underground highway, these machines don't need to shore up the tunnel behind them.

  • he is trying hard to break complex information so that other people would get what he is saying haha

  • 34:10

  • In case you dont know Darius Tanz u may relate his to Tony Stark like i said

  • Elon Musk is a real life Darius Tanz or I would just say the character Darius Tanz is made out of Elon Musk!

  • I think Elon musk is a genius, and he will proved it

  • Hello, Ted and Elon. Please, consider, share and make www.TheVenusProject.com by Jacque Fresco. Thank you.

  • He is Tony Stark.

  • Why has nobody brought up earthquakes?...

  • What has this guy invented? I see some rich guy trying to re invent the wheel. Even some of the comments here saying he should be president...lol Or he will be compared to Einstein!? Seriously! lol So Elon disciples, what happens to these tunnel systems when a large earthquake hits!? Don't believe for one second that Elon Musk is an expert seismologist because he obviously isn't! You will all be trapped in your little electric coffins and we will have to spend millions to dig you up! And the expense of tunneling won't be rectified by his logic at all. In fact it will increase the price of tunnels. You still need to ventilate any tunnel humans will occupy whether there's car exhaust in it or not! ANYONE with confined entry training knows this and understands LOL....low oxygen levels. And what about a flood! Tunneling is not the answer by any means in fact, just more problems and money. And Elon says ummm and stumbles around his words so much because he's trying to believe his own BS! lol NOT because he's trying to dumb it down for all us dummies! lol He's the dummy but mega money apparently means your some genius! Is Johnny Depp and Oprah gonna start funding useless rockets to Mars too! lol

  • I think Elon is Jesus Christ 2.0

  • No taky snim o spousté věcech a mám spousty nápadů jen mi chybi to podstatné penize do začátku abych začal realizovat jako on :) Ale jinak fajn video. Je přemýšlivý jako já :D Jak já říkám "Když chceš zažit něco s budoucnosti musíž jit a udělat to sám protože kdybys čekal až to někdo udělá aby jsi to mohl zažít i ty nemusel by ses toho dožit". Všechno všem trvá pomalu a diky politickým vlivum vždycky se to táhne dlouho

  • where can i find the original clip of the landin rocket at 31:00 ?

  • btw someone needs to count how much hes say ''um''

  • he talks like me but smart

  • Yeah but electrical cars being cheaper then a bus ticket is cool, this means an electrical bus would be basically free.

  • great vision , great ambition

  • This dude was born in South Africa........................wtf

  • keep it simple. XD hyper loop makes sense cars don't.

  • So, this is the first real interview I've watched with Elon Musk. First observation: They've been talking about digging tunnels under L.A. for 10 minutes and said nothing. It is too costly and too slow. It is Elon's hobby. That's what we got from this. Next, we move onto Electric Cars and Self Driving cars. There's an interesting video at 14:02 Elon's rhythm of speech is very peculiar. It's like he's moving backwards and forwards. He doesn't talk with certainty. Bup....Bup....bup, bup......bup...bup..bup....ye....bup,bup,bup,bup.... Very difficult to hear him talk for extended periods. He then goes on to talk about the risks and problems associated with implementing and trusting Self Driving Cars. Eh...ye...bup.... More about security........I'm getting pretty bored at 20 minutes now. No flow in the way Elon speaks. Repeats words a lot. You,you, so,so, em. it's quite, i mean, it's quite. Extremely difficult to listen to. Wow, this is gonna be a hard interview to get through. Now we've moved onto Renewable Energy. Solar Roofing. The problem with this interview is that Elon is just stating facts, he's not saying anything interesting. Just stating obvious technical data and facts about future inventions. It doesn't help that he talks in quite an awkward way. The interviewer is also talking in a very strange way. It's like listening to two musicians who have no rhythm. A guitarist and bassist not able to find the beat. That's what this jam sounds like. Boring....28 minutes....Now we're talking about moving away from Fossil Fuels. This is still relative to Renewable Energy. Aha, now we're moving onto Politics. At 29 minutes we're now on Climate Change. We're moving fast now. 30 minutes, Space X and Mars. There's a cool video of a rocket returning back to Earth at 30:50 What is wrong with these people. Listen to this: 31:13 'So that was, that was, that was the sped up' 'That was the slowed down version' 'that was, thought that was the sped up version' So much repetition it's amazing. So apparently, they want to send people to Mars. We already knew that.....Okay, at 33 minutes we're talking about an interplanetary transport system. Okay...now at 35 minutes Elon is talking about making the right decisions for future research. He's talking about how some projects are interconnected. He's now saying that technology doesn't always improve over time. That there are periods of darkness and stagnation.////Phew, okay, finally got to the end. The topics were interesting but the interview overall was strange paced, matter of fact and awkward. Most of Elon's innovation ideas are good but they look too far into the future or are too difficult and complex to actualize./// At the very end Elon says 'You'll tell me if it genuinely gets too crazy' Elon does realize that he's not the first to conceptualize futuristic ideas I hope...Also, there's a difference between Sci-Fi and reality. Anyone can dream and project to their hearts content, no problem. You can write a Sci-Fi novel or story like Star Wars or X-Men and put in the craziest scientific ideas and inventions you can come up with. Nothing wrong with that. However, not all of them translate into reality. So, writing a novel about a super speed underground highway with bandits undearneath L.A. in the year 2090 is great, trying to turn that into reality, especially if not possible due to technological constraints is another story.///I get it, he's ambitious but some of the ideas are a little too far fetched for this era./////Well, that was my take on the interview. A little negative but that's how it went. Happy New Year 2019!

  • If we ain’t on Mars in 2027 I’ll come back and dislike this video

  • You can tell just by watching him that there's a lot going on in that head of his.

  • So I spent a day of learning how to do voice overs to come and watch him talk. I never realized how similar me and Elon Musk talk, I tend to stutter and stumble a lot as well.

    • +KalmarGrabbarna Yeah. If you're interested in pursuing a career in either film or audio I would greatly suggest seeing if your high school offers a digital media class or another type of TV class. I'm taking it and we learn how to edit video and audio. Plus if we have free time we get to play around on photoshop. We also film the home sports games. ItPlus might help with youtube.s just really fun.

    • Lol cooool

  • Elon musk #1

  • I know it’s boring to see the characters in a 7 season show, watch 10 min. And tell what’s happened and how it end. Later Friend

  • Elon musk is great keep ya head up

  • Even d interviewer guy have to take a pause to engulf all d info which Ellon is sharing at so much ease ....where he will stop I wonder 🤔

  • Wanna beat Garen 😝😝😝😘

  • gls-group.zw/

  • I love this guy.

  • Fun fact Elon Musk plays Space Engineers.

  • Bang on 6:11

  • Elon is the only example of anything good coming out of south africa.

  • I just really love Musk for allways outdoing his oponents.

  • 32:50 Elon Musk - Creating biggest rocket ever Interviewer - As one does Elon Musk - Yeah ;)

  • What an extraordinary human!

  • wow. I am happy to be alive during this man's presence on earth.

  • It's kinda difficult to tell when he's joking lmao.

  • god himself

  • When will TED come out to talk?

  • 31:00 hmmh.... that doesnt look right, the time between entering atmosphere and landing is like nothing, any xplanation besides that it is fake?

    • It's already sped up. Clouds are just close to ground. Evet when you go in a skyscraper you can be above the clouds. (I'm working at 34. floor) So it was already sped up, they did not change it at the last second. I think you should check the spacex youtube channel. There are tons of landings like this one

    • +Çağdaş Kalaç thx for reply but thats not what i mean, the time between clouds and landing is like max. 1 sec., a friend just said the video might be sped up at this moment.

    • Atmosphere is not as thick as you think

  • Elon Musk as Global President ...YESSSSS

  • ya lets not feel guilty about energy guys by mass producing lithium ion batterys lmfao gtfo.

  • Simply brilliant, the way he is intellectually curious and thirsty. Reminds me of those Renaissance figures, where knowledge and evolution are appreciated above everything else. The way he talks shows how his brain generates ideas quickly so he has to improvise with those distorted words. Finally someone we can look up to in this dirty era.

  • Everyone is coming in their pants about Musk; he's not the messiah he's a very naughty boy. Seriously though, he's just another capitalist (albeit with an ecofriendly syrup additive). His aspirations of colonising Mars illustrate how bonkers he is. And of course he is hugely in favour of free-market economics (that thing which has allowed the one percent to control the world's wealth). People are on here comparing him to Einstein - he's a business man. Relatively benign, but hardly a saviour. We already have all the tech we need to live happily, what we are lacking is ethics. Musk is great at getting things done, it's just a shame he isn't pioneering social change. I guess that's a lot harder to get excited about, perhaps because it requires more imagination.

  • Where is this fantasy now?

  • visionary that sees the future wraped in models of the. present solving present day problems. traveling far to work is a feudal system of real estate maintaining the staus quo... when future generations see. the answer as live closer to your job and build communities around that model. not masses of slaves rushing to jobs in personal vehicles they can barely pay for.

  • is it safe against earthquakes?

  • I love flying, but the noise level would make me want to strike that vehicle up in the air I hate tunnels no way am I ever doing the under ground thing not at 200 mph either.

  • A future that isn’t sad, a very sane idea.

  • I wanna work with this guy!

  • Driving 200km/h might be revolutionary in the USA but in Germany it definitely is not!😂😴 if you wanna get the interest of such a system you should rather more think in Dimensions like 300/400+ Km/h!👌🤘🏻

    • I thinks it’s more driving 200 km/hr under a city is revolutionary. Cities are usually congested. We aren’t talking about highways.

  • Can you say "sink hole nightmare."

  • This is really a very wholesome interview.... Covered all topics... With photos and videos... Live audience feedback... And ELON!

  • These guys hold the secret to free energy

  • "I'm just trying to think of the future and not feel sad"...Humanity needs more Elon Musks. His statement may seem obvious and nonconsequential, but it's actually revolutionary. Humanities beliefs have always been dark and grim about the future, ask any older person what they think about the future and they will talk about the good old days and how we are entering scary times. Many major religions point to an apocalypse; to most the future means death, destruction, poverty, disease, and darkness. And humanity acts accordingly. People live like the future should either not be thought about, or be thought about to warn of future demise. "There is no hope in humanity, so I might as well do what I need to do for me and my family". Elon was spot on with his diverging streams analogy. If humanity believe that death and destruction are the sole heirs of the future, then we are choosing a stream that leads there. But, Elon is trying to push the current to a new path. I hope he continues the revolution of "not feeling sad"

  • I hope elon is right about most of his predictions. Like sendeing first humans to mars in 2024 (i believe) but it is 2019 now and i never heard of a truck driving itself from la to ny. He makes a lot of promises which will make mankind a better species overall, i just hope he is mostly right

  • He is the greatest actor ever or the greatest geek ever... either way, this guy is awesome

  • Elon Musk is our lord and savior.

  • the guy interviewing keeps hissing like a snake...

  • Elon Musk, the "Father of Humanity's Space Travel," not the "Father of Government Space Travel." I like this very much...

  • Im also curious about the whole sustainable energy future(which I want very much) in that, how do make rocket propulsion without rocket fuel, with electricity alone? How can you use electricity to propel a rocket?

  • 21:34 please god let there be a new smokey and the bandit...

  • That’s the slow down version. Goddam this man is the most savage person I have ever encountered. You should search Elon musk savage moments and see him in s different way.

  • Amazing first minute of the video ... i will keep watching

  • higher than Elon Musk so fly stars eat our dust

  • People who can’t afford the future will be sad on the other hand it will drive people to get better to be part of the future or be left behind

  • Imagine 3000 cars trying to get to that elevator you have a big line your 6 mins drive just went from 6 to 60 minutes drive its a greta idea but ain’t gonna solve anything

  • Earthquake risk-free?

  • 39:28 Humanity cant be save. The End is nearer than you thought. Life is temporary :P 39:53 Great save by Elon Musk!
