  • Großartig!!

  • The look MJ giving to Kerr is that of a gang leader. " Do it or ill kill you peasant " type of look.

  • this story is maybe my favorite thing about steve kerr

  • Story is actually longer

  • Steve Kerr was a great shooter and he learned a lot in the game playing with The Living Legend. No wonder his team as a coach is great aswell.

  • 8 rings. Wow.

  • EIGHT RINGS - nobody laughing now.

  • I am soooo glad we got Kerr back then runnin point. Great player. Great guy.

  • No shimmy after making the shot. The good old days

  • Steve is cool as hell stick to the store steve.. iceman

  • Epic

  • He forgot to say mama I love you P.O.P

  • Coach Steve 8 chips

  • I love it. Steve responding with determination and confidence, as a private would do towards his first sergeant. Thats is what inspires great leadership, from jordan... and a winning mentality that Kerr has.

    • Jordan talks about how Kerr couldn't sleep all night a few games prior because he missed a big shot. Kerr's wife told Jordan that on an off day between the games. When they won it, Jordan talks about how good he felt for Kerr (and also referenced John Paxon from older championships)because he knew the miss was eating him alive and about how dedicated they were to their roles of knocking down big, important shots when called upon to do it. You didn't play in big moments with Jordan unless you had his full respect and confidence. Kerr had both.

  • thats what team leader is lebron. suck it up and learn it.😀😀😀

  • Damn funny guy

  • The way he talks n makes faces reminds me of Anthony Jeselnik

  • Steve looks like professor in this

  • that look killer eyes :D 0:16

  • Jordan makes all his teammates better. I don't know about Lebron 😂😂😂

  • LOL I love this guy

  • 0:15 The Jedi Mind Trick occurs #coldstare #youmusthitthewinningshot #orelse

  • Kobe would have chucked up a brick

  • What nba team today would double off of the best stand still shooter on the court? the utah jazz made so many metal mistakes in the 2 finals. They didn't have a decent perimeter player to make mj work or to bring it home at the end....that era lacked great perimeter players....it was def a big man league

  • Steve Kerr, so young, so many freckles.

  • *SPLASH FATHER* , you gotta love steve kerr

  • Steve Kerr should be a comedian

  • This video highlights the importance of not only having a Star Player but having competent and experienced Role Players as well and how that turns a contending team into a Championship Team.

  • Fuck Steve Kerr

  • Hate this guy when he was playing with the bulls because he flops a lot. But now I love him as a coach for the warriors.

  • Steve is looking like AND 1 Professor...

  • jordan is a straight killer bro look how he told kerr to be ready then he just sat there calm shaking his head knowing he had it

  • Steve's story about Toni Kukoc is also hilarious 😂

  • Dang! There seemed to be nothing that could stand in their way from that championship. I am just simply jealous. I wish I have the ability to do something so good that no one can compete with me.

  • Kerr is one of the best human beings. He's so funny

  • Kerr is a good guy. Great dude. The Warriors are trash though. Great team lots of winning, but trash players. All of them. Except Javale McGee

  • But MJ never deferred in clutch times lol

  • What a legend

  • Steve Kerr was a limited abilities , having a open mind kind of player that time now he uses his open mind as a coach and he rocks , I love him.

  • 🐐 hahahahahahhahahahahaha

  • Jordan did this as an act of kindness. Two defenders on Jordan ain't nothing,Jordan could easily score.

    • yet it was a WIN - in sports that is the ONLY thing that matters.

    • timber_beast passing the ball to Kerr who was outside the box is more of a risk than MJ going straight to the basket

    • thats your story and you're sticking to it lol

  • Classic example of MJ cheating to win

  • Thumbnail looks like he's on The Price Is Right

  • coooool ass

  • Legendary stuff, strong sense of humor. This guy is a big reason of GSW unique team chemistry

  • Steve Kerr is a cuck bitch.

  • Skip: "If Kerr doesn't hit that shot to save Jordan's legacy...."

  • Steve kerr > Marc Jackson. Not even close

  • Shooters been bailing out superstars since the bygone era

  • MJ only laughs at humor which directly or indirectly worships him.

  • Guys, help,i wanna understand what does he say but my english isn't good enough ,can you make a subtitles or write what he say

    • "Phil says Michael, I want you to take the last shot then Michael says, You know Phil I don't feel real comfortable in these situations, so maybe we outta go in another direction! Why dont we go to Steve? So I thought to myself I gotta bail Michael out again! The shot went in, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. - LOVE IT!!!

  • steve is a shooter..i wonder how many girlfriends did he have..

  • 0:47 the wettest shot I have ever seen

  • With so much on the line, and that look at 0:15 by Jordan, I have to give Kerr credit. He stepped up and did his job. Also, great call by Jordan at 0:17. The percentages agree that passing is the right play in that situation. Especially if you're passing to a shooter like Steve Kerr, whose career 3 point percentage (45.4%) is *#1 IN NBA HISTORY* (beating #4 Stephen Curry (43.6%).)

  • Steve Kerr is natural...fun but disciplined..

  • Oh c'mon Steve.. you should've said that in your open court episode. That could've been hilarious.. 😂

  • OK you can make open 15 foot jumper but can you hit 3 points?

  • Ah dad jokes

  • Steve kerr is totes the goat

  • MJ would've punched him in the face again if he missed that shot.

  • I feel like he would make a great coach one day.

  • I know Steve Kerr got enough sense to not compare Stephen Curry with Michael Jordan

  • Hhahahahaha :-D :-)

  • I hav munchies. All i think watching was how the free food was at the rally

  • One shot made him a legend

    • Then there was the All Star Weekend 3pt. Shooting champion - and the All-Time highest 3pt-shotting percentage. But, yeah....one shot.

  • And ppl get in Lebron for dishing the ball off for the final, if your being doubled and a shooter is whte open you take your chances.,

  • He received a pass from MJ to hit a game-winner in the Finals, and now coaching one of the best NBA teams Couldn't ask for more.

  • Stupid cracker didn’t bail Jordan out fuck you Kerr

  • steve had a 4-peat.

  • He was an aweosme player

  • i watched this like 100 times😄😄😄😄

  • MJ was so clutch he knew Kerr would definitely hit the shot that night 😂😂😂 #GOAT 🐐

    • Haise Sasaki I'm curious - are you wearing a hand cast for a bruise, while you're typing all your hate of Jordan on these boards?

  • How funny. 09-02-17.

  • MJ and Kerr parted their ways after 98. Kerr won 2 more rings. MJ did not win any more rings after Kerr. Coincidence?

  • Imagine if Kyrie or Ray Allen was making this speech. Hahaha!

  • damn! steve Kerr's trolling lebron even before lebron entered the league. he saw the future!

  • 20 years later, looks exactly the same

  • Michael Jordan and Scottie pippen are some ugly ass mother fuckers man , damn

  • Kerr now has more rings than Jordan.....

  • Based on the video, if he missed, with three Chicago Bulls having rebounding position, Kukoc, Pippen or Pippen would have grabbed the rebound and finished the game off. Caught the Jazz napping.

    • Why the Bulls was the best, they had a lot of second chances with Rodman at the offensive board

    • There was 5 seconds left

    • there was no time left in the clock

  • LEGEND!!

    • They cut a part where Scottie apparently reminded Phil of when Michael said in his one commercial that he's failed 26 times.😂

    • KoS You mean am I stupid enough to retype verbatim the line from the video that everyone just watched? Well, I'm not THAT stupid.

    • Ulysses432 whaaaa?? R u stupid or somethin?

    • +KoS Is there video of this?

  • comments from my dogs

  • This and Yao Ming HOF practice joke with Iverson are two of the funniest moments in basket history.

  • This guy seems like he would be a great coach one day

    • And go 3-1 in four Finals vs the Cavs.

    • jlogroniox maybe 3

    • I think tha this guy will blow a 3-1 lead in 2016

    • Benbruh Hey, good prediction 😎

    • almadeunrebel you mean tyron lue?😂

  • The little clip of them talking during the timeout. That is great leadership and communication. Jordan anticipated a possible double team and knew it would be Kerr's defender coming at him. He lets Steve know, when Kerr says "if he comes off I'll be ready" he's getting himself in the mindset to get the ball and make the shot. That's exactly what happened. Well done, Bulls.

    • edentaylor211 Of course. The play was designed for Jordan to take the shot (everyone on the planet knew this). What the Bulls schemed for is 1) If they try to play him straight up (ala, Utah with Byron Russell) he goes one-on-one and 2) if they double-team him with Kerr's man, Kerr rotates to the spot where if Jordan doesn't have the shot Kerr's open. It was part of the invincability of this team because of Jordan. It was deemed foolish to try and guard him straight up in a game-winning scenario because he was lethal and the pile of teams that tried to do it were all part of his highlight reels. Then teams who double-teamed him always had to leave an open man and Jordan was expert and seeing if not outright anticipating where the double-team was coming from and passing to the open man. It's why every championship Bulls' team had that specific role-playing sharp-shooting gaurd: Paxson>BJ Armstrong> Kerr.

    • Ulysses432 they also practiced it months in advance. Other teams knew Michael was known for being the one to take the last shot. That’s why they predictably double teamed him.

    • suciobeats no it wasn’t. I’m getting so sick of people lying. The clutch shot was always designed for Michael. Steve Kerr was asked to take the shot because Michael trust him to do it if they came to double team him. That trust was built because of a fight him Jordan had during practice. They formed a bond because Jordan realize Steve had guts. That’s what lead to him been given the ball. Steve himself has talk about it on numerous of occasions. So stop lying.

    • kidlat1968 ha ha h a a hit at kd !

    • Suciobeats No it wasn't Kerr's idea. Jordan mentions it first and he's being discrete by holding the cup up over his lips, hunching his shoulders and leaning in, in case the JumboTron is on him. Jordan leans over to Kerr and says "watch them coming off me". Kerr responds to Michael's warning: "If he comes off - I'll be ready".

  • I remember this from way back in the day. It's how I first learned of Kerr's sense of humor.

  • legend

  • Always remembered this story from Steve Kerr. Class

  • Michael's sunglasses tho, that's some real 90's shit.

  • Only guys I like on golden state are. Kerr Iguadala McGee

  • SAVAGE! lol :)

  • he'll go down as the GREATEST coach of all time ...MAD RESPECT for kerr

  • "It's MJ and Lebron at the top"-Steve Kerr You warriors trolls better start appreciating lebrons greatness

  • So maybe we oughta go to another direction. Why don't we go to Steve?! *Then gives a little nod* LOL Classic Steve Kerr!

  • I wish he would have told us the story about the time Jordan punched him in the face and practice

  • Young Kerr Poppin bitches

  • 20 years later, This dude is still witty as fuck

  • white people

  • GOAT
