    • Place ur alarm clock 5-10ft away from you or place multiple alarm clocks around your apartment.

    • Once you get your routine the animal or animals will usually help with it.

    • Morning sex

    • For muslim, its a must for us to wake up at 5 or 5.30 to perform prayer everyday, even earlier for sahur in ramadan

    • Alarmy the best alarm app, many alarm off options Sleep if you can

  • I started going to bed earlier(between 9-10:30), and this only works half of the time. I put my phone on the other side of my dorm room and set the alarm for 5 and then when the alarm goes off I half sleep walk to my phone, turn off the alarm, and go back to sleep until 8. I am worried about that because I am beginning to oversleep(10 hours) and that sabotages my daily to-do lists, which just stresses me out, because even if written work isn't done, if I don't get adequate study time every day, I begin to feel like I am behind. How do I move past this and wake up EVERY week day at 5am?

  • well, it's not that easy coming out of bed in the morning... imagine, you just woke up and you are wrapped up in your blanket feeling warm and everything is just fine? How am I supposed to stand up...? The comfort zone is too seductive at this time of the day... I for myself don't even think about anything in the first 30 minutes being awake... any tips ?

  • Great advice as always. Thank you, Antonio.

  • Very many years ago wen my uncle was struggling to make it big in business he was in his early twenties and one of d first things he wanted to change abt himself was his wake up schedule. He was never a morning person but out of sheer determination to succeed he made himself a morning person. As soon as he wakes up in d morning (before his mind makes up excuses to lay in bed fr longer!)he gets up walks to d shower n opens it n stands under cold running water!! And thr he is wide awake ready to take on d day! And guess wat! He's a super successful businessman today!

  • I work construction as an Electrician. 5am has been my normal for nearly 10 years now lol.

  • Respect from 🇮🇳

  • What if i go to sleep at 3 am. I am a Bartender

  • the point is..why so? Unless you have a specific work shit or you are in the army, there is no real reason to wake up at 5.00 AM. I know it is cool to say that you wake up at Gordon Gekko's time, however you have 2 roads to achieve that : go into a sleep deprivation or go to sleep like a farmer of the 18th century. Seriously, who finishes the day by 19.00 PM nowadays? Most of the people are still commuting from their workplace, noone had his/her dinner yet and during spring/summer the sun is literally still up in the sky. Not mentioning that all the social events happens from this time onwards, no matter what. Also, is this behavior followed during the weekend? Are you guys telling me that you are not hang out with some friends (restaurant, cinema, bar etc.)? How do you do business if you have the possibility to work only during the daytime (the time most people are busy doing something else of course). Sorry guys, I will never buy this 5.00 routine; it is a show off that brings very little advantages and some very heavy consequences. If society moved from a 05.00-21.00 schedule to a 07.00-23.00ish schedule there is a specific reason.

  • Thank you for your advice. I wake up at 6h30 so at 5 would be a challenge. I need time to pray and read in the morning. I've got most things on your list but go to bed early is not possible for me. But I shall make progress.

  • Good boy.

  • I get up at 10am, for the following day😎😎😎

  • Have you considered (or maybe you have one already) maintaining a reading list? You suggest some great reads!

  • Antonio, I like the contrast between your jacket and shirt. What are they?

  • Wake up and do what? I have no bloody job, live in a fucked up commuter town, no wife or even a own house or oand to work on.

  • From 2012 I wake up at 5 am. My age 20

  • I get up everyday at 4:30. I don't have to be at work until whenever. My best motivation was realizing that I don't do anything remotely productive after 9 pm. So I might as well go to sleep and get the extra hours in the morning

  • A cup of water before sleep, I hear, helps you wake up in the morning. Supposedly one of the reasons you wake up so tired is dehydration during your sleep. Makes sense to me.

  • So super tips, thank you antonio !!!

  • Great tips, thanks a lot

  • More tips less plugs bro...

  • At this moment, my alarm is my phone, i'm going to change that form now.... i'll put the electronics away from my sight. Thanks for those advice!

  • Have purpose to wake up, it helps me to write down To Do list before i sleep so i can sleep without thinking what will you i do + in the morning you have it ready, no need to think about it

  • Awesome video

  • muslims wake at 5 or even earlier every single day, to do the morning prayer..

  • And then it turns into an Ad...

  • You talk so fast like a woman .

  • When I heard of waking up at 5:00am I was so exited

  • Good luck everyone.

  • Great video!

  • As you try and go to bed earlier, don’t go straight like 2hours earlier, try to go down about 15-30 min per day

  • Great tips for me as I'm starting a new job 🤘🏼

  • I like that motto. It’s progress not perfection. Sometimes I’ll drink like 2 glasses of water before bed so I’ll wake up early to pee. I heard native Americans would do that the night before a battle

  • Get yourself a jack russel terrier... let that sucker loose in your house in the morning. The dog will teach you how to start your day haha!

  • I died when he said they dotn have their beds

  • Muslims are up at 5:30 A.M every morning .... that’s the first prayer of the day :) it’s cool to hear you speaking about these things that we already do, like all the grooming and hygiene tips ect. Those are actually mandatory in islam...smelling good and being clean and looking good is obligatory.

  • Dose this mean I have to sleep an extra hour befor I get up haha

  • The problem is not wake up early, but going to sleep 9p.m

  • Nice tips. Unfortunately not everyone can apply these. I for example cant put away my phone for the night because I might get a call from work even at night. Also going to bed at 9pm is way too early to have some time to spend with family and dog when you get back from work close to 7pm.

  • I'm watching this while lying in bed at midday

  • Is anyone know, how to wake up at 5am and feel good if you have a baby (several months old)?

  • Heard of the glass of water in the AM but not by the bed. Good idea, I'll try it.

  • At 9pm to go to bed....good joke. How empty is your life? You record a video and then give it to other to do the rest of the job, you can go to bed at 9pm while they work up to 11pm.....

  • Have a clear goal in mind! Have a why. Sense of purpose is everything. Do in the morning things related to your number one goal in life. That's it!

  • Lol I go to bed at 10pm and wake up at 0330am

  • A lot of this depends on your work schedule. For me, 5:00 a.m. is not viable considering that I don't get home from work until 1:00 a.m. at the earliest.

  • going to sleep at 21:00 is soo boring)) not rock'n'roll'ish at all))

  • Don't waste time, it's an Amazon ad...

  • Thanks for the video. How are you listening to audible at night if your electronics are turned off?

  • the audio book ad too long loll

  • Got to get I to it.

  • Proper preparation prevents poor performance. It's all about the 5 p's.

  • Most important thing to wake up at 5 am is to have a morning routine

  • Thank you very much

  • Great information,...and it works !

  • Well Covered feet protect you from bed monsters Antonio

  • Antonio, how on earth are you going to bed at 9pm? I'm just finishing up at my office at that time OR LATER more likely.

  • I think it's cool to wake up at 5am if you really want to have this lifestyle. But i wake up at 5am because i have to take my bus to school at 6am so i have to be up at 5 and i don't have time to work out or smth...

  • This is a great video, there is no doubt. But,you could have gone for more details like what reward? The reward should be beneficial but beneficial rewards does not actually make us happy. That would be better. Thanks.

  • Audible is Everywhere!

  • I watching this video...and now the time is 12.40am..holyshit I got screwed..

  • Because my wife doesn't appreciate the alarm and noise I make getting up, I've found it helpful the night before to lay out everything I'll need for that next morning. It helps me to pop up and just pick up the neatly organized stack of essentials to get my day started without disturbing anyone else.

  • well job at 6am so i had to wale up at 4:30

  • Thank you.

  • Thank you.

  • Best tip for waking up at 5AM - Just wake up I personally always wake up at around 4:30 - 5:30AM just to make some coffee and go sit on a garden bench in my back yard. • I discovered the best book ever 'essentialism' because of your video. Thank you!!

  • I always set up two alarm clocks to give myself a mini heart attack

  • 👍🙏🙏🙏👍🙏👍🙏👍👍👍🙏👍👍

  • I cant do that. Im working ar 9pm. I work until 10.30....

  • I simply do not know how this could work for me.. Last school year (8th grade) I would sleep 6 hours a day, 2 hours would go on travelling to school and back. I would be in school for 6 hours and the rest was just studying and homework. I am from Croatia so idk if 8th grade is so hard in US

  • Your instructions for what to do after putting electronics away at 7pm: continue using electronics to listen to audiobooks. What...

  • My tipp is, to slowly work yourself to 5am. I used to wake up at 8-9am, I Always failed to wake up at 5. Just wake up at 7:30 instead the next week, then 7:00... It made the Change much easier for me!

  • I am already up at 05:00 Gym for cardio at 06:00 Work at 07:30 - 17:30 Home by 18:00 eat with family. Kids in bed at 19:00 19:30 Evening training. Home at 21:00 Food prep (every 3rd day) Bed by 22:00 - 23:00 at best. We just need longer days!

  • 5:26 when I knew as a kid the day before that tomorrow something big is going to happen I never fell asleep because I was sooo excited 😂😂

  • I get out of work at 21:30/21:50, take the metro, make it to my place at 22:30 or so, start cooking dinner, make the laundry and clear the floors for the rooms to clean, then eat, shower, check my email, hang the laundry, and it is already 12:30 or 1:30 am. So yeah, so easy on paper when your scheduling matches and your life is so easy and put together, but not realistic at all for anyone who's work schedule is a 9to5.

  • I want to wake up early, as it has a lot of benefits. But what can I do during those 3 extra hours I gain from waking up early. There's no gym open and I'm only 17 yo, so I can't do work. Maybe studying is an option? Any suggestions? Thx!

  • Great inspiring content! Am i the only one who absolutely can't have their feet outside the covers (at the end of the bed)?

  • The true problem is when you go to university and get home at 11 only to get up at 5 to get to your next class in time. No way to overcome that unless you sleep throughout the day.

  • make a summary of your entire video and display it at the end of the video. This helps people to remember.

  • Welp, I have class until 10:15pm. Guess I'll just stick to my same schedule.

  • I keep my alarm in a different room, so whether i want it or not i have to get my ass out of bed

  • The rule of the 3 seconds

  • Still working at nine :(

  • Keep in mind that it takes three weeks to develop a habit. So take this time to get adjusted, it is out of your norm and it may be a bit challenging because it is different. So don’t give up on it when you think you’re ready to give up is when you’re most likely to succeed. So stick to it boys!

  • Is this is a tv ad?

  • For me it is to put my phone (alarm) away from my bad so that I would have to stand up, and also I need to do it faster because I don't want to wake up other members of my family.

  • Great vid!
