  • Flex seal tape doesn’t work. It doesn’t even stick to a leaking gutter I’m trying to repair in the rain.

  • They didnt apply any of it right

  • You can buy anything with 2 cents or even 20 cents

  • THATS A LOT OF DAMAGE!!!

  • *I sAw ThIs BoAt In HaLf*

  • Are you doubting them?

  • Eat flex seal

  • It does not work as advertised. I tried to patch a pipe just like theirs (a very small crack). But as soon as I turned on the water the tape blew a hole in it. It stuck just fine but is is so thin that it can't hold even a little pressure. Notice that their ad shows water coming out of the pipe at almost no pressure at all.

    • It does say on the packages and online to leave it for 24 hours before turning on water or anything.

  • Total deal

  • It may work great on water leaks but air leaks no go.

  • Flex seal couldn't even fix my eve troth , tried spray then tape , Total Fail !

  • its doesnt work on garden hoses at all, i tried 3 different hoses, they all leaked

    • Ed Johnson, same here. Looking for a better solution brought me to this video.

  • Without a doubt huh! Cool! Thx!

  • Starts at $7.00 and goes up from there. FOX needs to check their stories first.

  • This is not a flex tape video if you don't saw a boat in half in real life

  • Phil has sniffed too much flex glue and now all he can see is Martians!

  • I have used flex tape and paint on several projects and been very satisfied..had 100 lb plasitc weather proof sandbags used to weigh down 10 ft patio umbrellas that were absorbing water N growing alge..used black flex spray N it sealed the bags and solved the moist alge problem and used clear spray to fix torn screens seams..used flex spray to fix loose shoe insole inserts tks flex

  • I SAWED A BOAT IN HALF

  • THATS A LOT OF DAMAGE!

  • None of those examples had any water pressure on them, would like to see it seal a water pipe with at least 50 to 60 PSI in it.

  • Normally time I see as "as seen on TV!" item, I steer away from it. This is impressive, though.

  • But how long it will last and will it work on oily leaks. Huh huh ?? I bet it won't cause that's the REAL. Test

  • In the commercial they used putty to hold the tape in place if you watch their commercial carefully and thoroughly.

  • I used this product and it's GREAT, it's worth its weight in gold..plus I love the commercial with cut boat in half but the newer one with clear tape with boat cut in half with sharks swimming all around it lol..that's priceless...

  • The tape don't hold under heat or should hot day I this tape for tarp repair under hot days the glue softens and the tape peels right off

  • This stuff turns to goo in the Arizona summer temps

  • This stuff sucks.......big time

  • i used the tape on my 2003 s10 , rusted cab corners last year & still holding

  • Camera man you seeing this

  • This is a dud; not of the items worked and I could get nothing glued.

    • If you are using flex seal...you need multiple coats and need to wait 24/48 hours for each coat

  • ' what country make this flextape

  • Tried To Stop A Leak On A Copper Pipe Small Hole ..Did Not Work.

  • Does not work under pressure,I tryed on a two inch hose connected to a pump the hose leaked

  • Try the Spray Seal.

  • Can't it stick to Fabrics?

  • didn't work on my water hose. Probably best on solid surfaces, not flexible hoses.

  • News commercial !

  • The facebook teaser at the end for another video seems impossible to find now.

  • They exaggerated in the commercial, but if applied more seriously in real life, the results appear as they did in the commercial.

  • Ive used it.. its a dud!

  • It has done wonders for me on a lot of different things. It definitely is a deal.

  • For once, a product that works

  • It works!👍😄👍...

  • Get the construction zepp board tape real good

  • what is psi pressure it can hold?

  • I'm going to try to wrap the tape around my car tires to restore the tread.

  • Junk that's all it is!!!

  • This video was very good but what made me laugh was at 3:20 the news feed at the bottom. Check it out.

  • I used it on a pool pump hose for temporary fix Water was spraying hard, worked great for 3 days till I had time to replace hose

  • Tape is twenty bucks and a five gallon bucket at Home Depot is five bucks.

  • their products are DUDS !!!

  • This stuff is a total rip off, all it is is roofing membrane repackaged with a gimmic. Just go to the home center and buy a roll of flexible flashing tape, it's the same stuff and Way cheaper than the small piece the TV guys charge a fortune for. They buy huge rolls of roofing membrane, or flashing tape, cut it into small pieces and give it a catchy name... Don't fall for the hype and waste your money.

    • If...there are the kinds of tape that you are saying in the store...

  • I have used this & it worked Great!!

  • The gig problem I have with the ads is they show using it in ways you really should not like replacing a shingle.

  • Tried to re attach a sole on my work boot. Complete fail. Wast of money.

    • Use Shoe Goo, held for at least a couple months

  • with our hole plugged and our bucked full it all comes down to this 😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩

  • This is the stuff the titanic Needed

  • The spray didn't work for me

  • Where I live we call that stuff ICE AND WATER SHIELD.

    • lostintime86 Exactly! That's all that stuff is and you can buy it cheap at any home center. Spread the word, these guys are getting stupid rich selling this stuff in small pieces.

  • Did not work for even a small puncture hole on the wall. It just floated away. And when attempting to put on outside, it leaked through in a few seconds. Thumbs down for underwater repairs.

  • I work for a hardware store that sells it what about a hole in a boat and what about under presher

  • my cars over 30 years old and ive been looking for a solution to fix my door seals without spending a stupid amount of money to fix and it looks like i might just try something like flex tape to make a seal. the doors only leak air and water at the tops of the doors so just tape acrost the top and another piece on the other side should keep water out for the most part

  • Damn, if only the Titanic had some Flex Seal on board.

  • That means it will work PERFECT as a Condom?

  • it's crap, just like duct tape

  • I used this crap and doesn't stick to my aluminum camper! Do not buy this flex tape! I warned you!

  • Flex tape will not stick to anything under water.

  • The wide tape $20 for 4 feet. No deal there.

  • Negative

  • I got some flex tape. Thanks

  • You dare doubt phill?

  • Had a major breach of a rubber membrane roof after three consecutive Nor'easters. Severe damage from projectiles. The FlexSeal tape worked incredibally well even when the patches were applied in driving rain. All patches held for quite a while and held until new roof was installed. it is what it says it is.

  • I use Flex Seal I brushed it on. I also used spray type. Both of them has failed

    • +Andrew Carpinella it comes in can, tape, and spray form. All three are a joke.

    • Danny Hawks brushed on tape? What?

    • How many coats did you use?, also did you wait 24/48 hours for each coat?

  • Hey Moe...a betters then Bright-0....Quiets you...SLAP...

  • Phil should be proud

  • This might work but their Flex Seal is crap. I used an entire can to try and seal a gutter leak and it didnt work. Dont waste your money! Dud!!

  • Gee let's say he spent $80 in those tapes combined!

  • Doesn't work in Arizona

  • Nothing in "as seen on TV" is worth a damn.

  • *It works well in most cases if all instructions are followed. However, in most cases there is a much cheaper, easier method available. Dud.*

  • This is crap.dosent work.none of these products work as advertised.

  • This is a total DUD!!!! I tried this on our pool it did not work at all.

    • Are you sure it was genuine because counterfeit flex tape can cause A LOT OF DAMAGE

    • do you have any idea how much water pressure is in a pool???? hahahahaha

    • Michelle Watts your pool is broken then.

    • You must have done it wrong, our lord Phil Swift would never lie to us

  • My mother got me a roll of white tape the smaller one .Its actually squares of tape but it is Absolutely 100 percent the truth it works really good .

  • Wow,I'm ashamed to live in this area that they would waste money and time in this. They should cover the worst places to go to, like government buildings.. not grab at stuff of off facebook.

  • We use this stuff to do quick repairs on the water buckets used to fight forest fires. This stuff is no joke. I also work on passenger aircraft and this is the stuff used to hold the carpet down. great shit.

  • I haven't seen any deception in the Flex products commercials like I do with other commercials that edits. The plate under the pillow test with bowling ball dropping I don't believe at all because these commercials have been carefully edited as to not showed how many times the plate test failed.

  • Don't diss Phil, he is many people's savior

  • I have used this stuff. Its great stuff.

  • Dud

  • HOW DARE YOU EVEN ASSUME THAT FLEX TAPE IS A DUD

  • Thank you for showing me this, I thought it was going to be a dud and then I'd have spent $60 for nothing (2 rolls) Whew!!

  • It works great, but it's expensive as hell.

  • Don’t hate on Phil Swift bitch

  • Heather Hayes is still hot.

  • You heard it right at the end of this video - - Flex Tape is meant to be a temporary solution . . . and hope that no oil or grease get's anywhere near it because the adhesive is easily removed from hands or surfaces by warm cooking oil (or many other solvents).

  • Does it work on a plastic bath tub

  • I made a cesna using only flex tape. 2 years flying strong guess it's about time to weld

  • Do not trust this junk.#1 water was not under pressure,#2 holding the weight jiffy seal ,duct tape would do the same,#3 sealing from the inside, small crack, many products would do the same, shame on you for endorsing this "Hold a boat ,in half product, just sayin'

  • A piece of nonadhesive plastic would seal that underwater hole. The water pressure is what is holding the tape in place.

  • I'll pass
